Shooting Adventure
Donated by Amber Manke & Lieutenant Colonel (ret.) Sam Andrews
Sam and Amber—aka #TeamSâmbér—are generously donating a bangin' shooting adventure at Gopher Rifle & Revolver Club in Harris, Minnesota topped off by a gourmet picnic for two!
Whether you're a total newbie who's never squeezed a trigger or a grizzled hunter who's bagged more bucks than a Wall Street broker, this is your chance to let those freedom seeds ring out from 600-1,000 yards.
You'll be blasting away with your choice of elite firepower:
- a custom .308 Winchester OR
- a beastly custom .338 Lapua Magnum
Both snuggled in a Masterpiece Arms chassis, sporting Bartlein barrels, Huber two-stage triggers, and topped off with Schmidt & Bender 5-25x56 PMII glass that's sharper than your ex's comebacks. Trust us, these setups are so elite, they'll make you feel like a sniper in a spy thriller—minus the international intrigue and bad accents (but with way more boom for your buck).
After you've channeled your inner action hero and made those targets sing (with both the precision punch of the .308 or the thunderous reach of the .338), Chef Sam (yes, he cooks too—because why not?) will whip up a gourmet picnic that'll have you wondering if this is a shooting range or a five-star resort. Bon appétit, sharpshooters!
Meet Sam, the retired Lieutenant Colonel infantry officer with 27 years of service under his belt (and probably a few extra belts from all those MREs). He'll be your guru on shooting fundamentals, wind reading, and DOPE-ing the rifle so you can ping steel like a pro at ridiculous distances. With travels to 44 countries and stories wilder than a bear on espresso, there's no awkward silence here—unless you're too busy laughing at his tales.
Armed with fancy degrees from the School of Advanced Military Studies and an MBA from the Carlson School of Management, Sam's brain is as loaded as his rifles. But don't worry, he keeps it real with his humble USMC roots; no silver spoon for this guy—just a lot of grit and probably some questionable tattoos.
Then there's Amber, the still-serving Lieutenant Colonel in the Minnesota National Guard—she's definitely the real MVP (and the catch of the century). An incredible conversationalist who can chat about anything from healthcare economics to quilting bees, she's an avid outdoorswoman who'd out-hike Bigfoot. With a PhD from the University of Minnesota and a Master's in Strategic Studies from the US Army War College, she's got more brains than a zombie apocalypse. Seriously, if intelligence were ammo, she'd never reload.
Together they crushed the 10-mile Tough Mudder compete with 23 obstacles in under two hours – that’s faster than a speeding bullet.
Mutually agreed upon date. Package valid for 1 year.
